On May 30–31, 2026, Open House Bern will take place for the third consecutive year. Over the course of the weekend, more than 70 buildings (link) will be open to the public free of charge, offering visitors fascinating insights into the properties and their uses.
You can look forward to a wide-ranging program featuring expert-led tours, guided visits, neighborhood walks, children’s workshops and more. The programme is now online – take a look HERE!
In addition, Open House Bern is organizing the first-ever pop-up event in Biel-Bienne in collaboration with the Architekturforum Biel! To complement the program in Bern, we will be opening the doors to around 10 selected buildings throughout the city of Biel.
From 400-year-old infrastructure buildings to masterpieces of the 1930s and experimental designs of the 21st century—our building program opens doors and gates that are usually closed to the public. We look forward to welcoming you in Bern and Biel-Bienne, check out the program HERE!
