Guided tour on women in urban space

In the public space of the city of Bern, the memory of women, their political struggles and achievements is as good as invisible. There is not (yet) a historical memorial culture for women - on horseback or on a pedestal - as there is for male protagonists. We invite you to search for traces between Hirschengraben and Bundesplatz: from (anonymous) female fountain figures to temporary monuments to women's suffrage and little-known female architects of the 20th century. Where are the women? Everywhere, actually.
