The urban villa at Zieglerstrasse 7, built in 1902 by architect Paul Lindt, was declared a demolition object due to a development plan and was subsequently only minimally maintained. Following extensive renovation work, the building was handed over to the Sputnik kindergarten for use.
Particular attention was paid to the colour scheme. The original colour scheme was examined and formed the basis for the new design. In the stairwell, a new stencil painting based on original designs from the time of construction takes up the floral motifs of the Art Nouveau stained glass.
The design of the added elements is based on the existing colour scheme and is integrated into the existing building, thus bringing the original atmosphere of the room back to life.
