Welcome to the house that awakens spaces
The teo jakob office building is one of the few buildings in the Lower Old Town that is used exclusively for commercial purposes. The buildings at Gerechtigkeitsgasse 23 and 25, one of which is attributed to the architect Niklaus Sprüngli, combine design, architecture and art to create a unique experience. In addition to an exquisite selection of designer furniture and furnishings, baroque décor elements, art on the building, works by renowned artists from the teo jakob art collection and a roof terrace with a view over Bern's old town are sure to impress. In addition, Mario Botta's new products will be presented at teo jakob for the first time in Switzerland exclusively during this period after the Salone del Mobile Milano.
Since the 1950s, teo jakob has commissioned pioneering artists and graphic designers to create posters. Works by Alfred Hablützel, Franz Eggenschwiler and Roger Pfund not only tell the story of graphic design, but also reflect the innovative spirit of the company. To mark the 75th anniversary, selected milestones from this collection are being presented in a special exhibition - a look at 75 years of design history and avant-garde creativity.
