The third phase of the Via Felsenau was realised as the CASA VIA project by the consortium of Patrick Kräuchi/wahlirüefli Architekten SIA and Raumplaner AG, Biel, in collaboration with a co-operatively organised building committee and working group.

Description
For WBG Via Felsenau, the focus is on intergenerational living.
One of the project’s key objectives is to provide each flat with an attractive private outdoor space as well as a communal one. Consequently, most of the larger flats have been designed as duplexes with a garden seating area facing the Aare and a communal forecourt on the entrance side. The smaller flats on the top floor are accessed via a pergola that serves as a communal area and feature spacious roof terraces.
The following mix of flats provides space for different age groups and living arrangements: 6 x 5.5-room flats, 6 x 4.5-room flats, 4 x 2.5-room flats, 4 x 3.5-room flats, 2 x 7.5-room flats, 1 flat with 4 flexible rooms, 1 guest room, as well as a kitchen and communal area. A total of 23 flats.
