The integrally renaturalised bank of the Aare enhances the riverbank and landscape structures. The filigree, wooden building is more than just an infrastructure structure. It thematises the special nature of the location on the Aare and the tree-covered slope. Its open, expansive structure interlocks with the open space and surroundings.
A light, floating roof over translucent and closed cubes allows the landscape to flow through the building. The arrangement of the cubes in the wooden structure creates covered open spaces, attractive places to communicate and linger and a differentiated identity.
