Description

In the former St Luke’s Chapel – a place of worship built in 1924 in the Weissenbühl district of Bern in the Art Deco style and completely disfigured in the 1970s – two new flats were to be built in addition to the existing vicarage in the attic. To keep the ground floor free of columns and preserve the large church windows, the upper flat was suspended as a ‘concrete box’ within the former two-storey church interior.
