The Bremgarten cemetery is located to the west of the city centre and was opened in 1865 to replace the Monbijo cemetery. At first glance, the cemetery appears very uniform due to its basic design. Nevertheless, the different designs of the burial plots, which were characterised by the spirit of the times, reveal several stages of expansion.
Whether it is the funeral chapel, miniature architecture in the form of tombs or the geometry of the grounds, the Bremgarten cemetery is a special garden monument that invites you to explore and marvel.
